Meet Our Founder

Hi, I'm Danae Brooker, founder of TerraPawz—but before that, I was just a dog mom fighting for Luna. When she was diagnosed with diabetes, I was devastated. Then I discovered the treats I was using to reward her twice-daily insulin shots were loaded with sugar and fillers—making everything worse.

I wanted to give her the longest, healthiest life possible, so I teamed up with my sister-in-law (a 30-year vet tech) and a pet food scientist. Together, we reimagined treats with plant-based ingredients like turmeric, flaxseed, and chia seeds—clean, functional nutrition that supports wellness while still tasting amazing.

We tested them with senior rescues at Frosted Faces Foundation. When they couldn't get enough, I knew we had something special. As Dr. Kelly Myers, DVM, explains: "As dogs age, nutrition becomes critical. TerraPawz offers the functional support pups need at every stage—while being a treat they actually want to eat."

Today, Luna is almost 11 and thriving—with puppy energy and a love for her TerraPawz treats. What began as a fight for Luna has grown into a mission: powering more love, more adventures, more moments with your pup through purposeful nutrition.
